We consider unsolicited submissions. We accept unpublished and original works of the highest quality by new and established writers and artists. We accept short stories, artwork, novellas, novel excepts, photography, and novels. Currently we are not accepting poetry submissions.

A cover letter should accompany submissions which includes your name, mailing address, title(s) of works submitted, a brief biography, and any other relevant information.

Submissions sent via post will not be returned unless specifically requested and a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) of adequate size with sufficient return postage is included. All unused print submissions will be recycled upon rejection. Please do not send originals. Matthew Press Company will not be responsible for lost or damaged pieces.

Simultaneous submissions are permitted; please notify us immediately if a piece is chosen for publishing elsewhere. Response time can take up to a month, but is often much shorter. Submissions of additional work while a decision has been made regarding your current submission is permitted. Contributors receive one complimentary copy. Upon publication, rights revert back to the author.
